Police Station Cyber Crime Chandigarh has successfully cracked case FIR No 109 dt. 22.11.2024 u/s 319(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) of BNS, which was registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Chandigarh, on the complaint Mr. Harinath Singh, in which he stated that on 02.10.2024, he received a call on his mobile no. 9671716535 from mobile no. 9270976901 and caller stated that a SIM Card is issued against your Aadhar Card and several frauds had been made through that mobile number and there are 7 complaints and 1 FIR is register against Harinath Singh and his all mobile number will be deactivated in next two hours. The caller made him to talk with Mumbai Police on whatsapp no. 8926236353 and police officer told him that you are indulge in Naresh Goel money laundering case and your account is open in Canara Bank in which transaction of Rs. 6 Crore 80 Lakhs was done and you got 10% commission against the transaction. Mumbai police officer threatens him to arrest. Then they told him that if you are cooperate upon, we will keep you on video call from home, but this matter has been kept completely confidential and you will not tell this to your wife and daughter or anyone else, If you tell anyone then you and they will be jail for 2 years, because of this fear, he did not tell anyone anything and remained on video call continuously. They said to me that you have to check your assets in FD, Bank Balance, Share Market, Mutual Funds and collect all your money in the bank and then further transfer it to RBI. RBI will investigate about how your money was linked with Naresh Goel money laundering case and If, you found innocent that amount will be refunded to you. Then Sh hari Nath transferred about 52 Lacs in different accounts through RTGS/UPI/Net Banking.
During investigation one accused Hasnain Haider was arrested from Lucknow (U.P) and on his discloser his 02 associates namely Hamza Harmain s/o Ridaul Harmain r/o #258/15 shankar dayal road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Age 26 years and Mohd. Asad s/o Mohd.Naim r/o # 253/73 Nadan Mahal road Rajinder nagar Lucknow Uttar Pradesh, Age 26 years were arrested from Lucknow (U.P). During interrogation it came to light that both the accused Hamza Harmain and Mohd. Asad are also involved in case FIR No. 74/2024, U/s 318 (4), PS-Cyber Police Station West, Delhi. Therefore total 05 no accused have been arrested in this case.
